In the event of inclement weather, CSQG will follow the same closure information of School District 11. If School District 11 is experiencing any delays or closures, we will not have a guild meeting. http://www.d11.org/weather.htm
We promote the appreciation of fine quilts and encourage growth of knowledge with different techniques brought to us by our guest speakers and teachers. Many of our programs feature nationally recognized quilt teachers and speakers; a $5.00 guest fee is required for all meetings. Members do not need to be quilters or quilt makers. We encourage anyone with an appreciation of the quilting arts to come and join in the fun.
Colorado Quilting Council invites everyone to attend their regular meetings. Guest fees are $10 per meeting. Meetings start at 10AM and the speaker starts around 11:30. Or, for only $25 annually, become a CQC member and enjoy 10 guest speakers, access to a large library, discounted class fees, retreats and more. Anyone joining after August 1st will only pay $12.50 for dues to enjoy CQC membership for the remainder of this calendar year.
To encourage CQC members to share the joy of CQC, members who bring a friend and pay for their friend's guest fee, will receive a discounted guest fee of $5 AND your friend will receive a free gift from CQC! Membership form can be found at http://www.coloradoquiltcouncil.com
What began as a "Quilting Bee", the Colorado Springs Quilt Guild is a non-profit organization who has been sharing quilts, talent, friendship and knowledge since 1997. There are monthly meetings, most of them with announcements, special speakers, show and tell, and refreshments following the meeting. We have an annual quilt raffle, one retreat per year, guild challenges, and community charity projects.
We meet at the Central United Methodist Church at 4373 Galley Road in Colorado Springs on the second Thursday of each month. Doors open at 6:00 PM, meeting starts at 6:30 PM. Membership dues are $25 per year. All members are encouraged to contribute one refreshment per year and participate in the annual fundraiser.
If you’d like to become a member you can fill out a form at a guild meeting or click here to download a PDF of the membership form. Fill out the form and send your check for $25.00 (madepayable to: Colorado Springs Quilt Guild) to the address on the membership form.
