  • Thursday August 9, 2018 Obsessive Quilter - Ann L. Peterson
Our speaker Ann Petersen will give a lecture and trunk show called “Quilt as Desired”. How to know what you desire on a quilt and a show and tell of some of Ann’s quilts along with the thought process of why she chose to quilt them as she did. Ann does all quilting on her domestic machine.
  • Saturday August 11, 2018  Class with Ann Petersen at the Tutt Police Station – Large Room Class is titled Quilting Naturally, which is Ann’s newest class in free motion quilting designs. This class is based on simple designs that are great for landscape quilts but also useful in many places on many types of quilts. Some designs are simple water, contours, pebbling, leaves, flames, and sky designs, as well as others. This is a class for those who have tried a little free motion quilting but want to learn more. Students can make all or part of the sampler, or just learn the stitches and variations. There will be a lunch break – you can bring your lunch or go to one of the 50 plus food eateries within 3 miles of the class location.
