About the Guild
The Colorado Springs Quilt Guild (CSQG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art (& love) of quilting.
Founded in 1987 by a small group of women sharing a common interest in quilting, what began as a Quilting Bee has grown into a large nonprofit organization of more than 100 members.
Incorporated as a 501(c)(7) in 1998, we range from true beginners to experienced instructors, brought together by a shared love of quilting and a desire to learn.
The purpose of the guild is to expand the knowledge of quilt making; promote the appreciation of fine quilts; sponsor and support quilting activities and quilters' expertise through education, programs and workshops; and provide public service projects for the good of the community.
Membership in the guild is open to anyone who is interested in quilts or quilting.
